HISTORICAL SOCIETY MUSEUM WILL BE OPEN: MON., JULY 20, 2026 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The Binghamton Township Historical Society Museum, located at 923 Hawleyton Rd., will be open on Monday, July 20, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.  This is a great opportunity if you have never visited or it has been a while.  We would love to give you a tour and share some history!

Our museum contains an eclectic assortment of artifacts covering all phases of earlier life in the Town of Binghamton, including the old telephone system, one-room schoolhouses, farm tools, license plates, antique bottles and crocks, dolls, kitchen utensils, furniture, and quilts. The Society also has oral histories of older (many deceased) members of the township.  The BTHS Museum is housed in the old Hawleyton Methodist Church, which is itself listed on the National Registry of Historic Places.
