CHRISTMAS EVENTS PLANNED AT HAWLEYTON METHODIST CHURCH
The Hawleyton Methodist Church, located at 901 Hawleyton Road, has some very special activities planned for this Advent Season. Come out and experience small-town America at its best!
On Sunday, December 14 at 6:15 p.m., there will be a “Christmas Tree Walk” in the Family Life Center. The public is welcome to come see beautifully decorated trees and nativities. A “Christmas Cantata” will begin at 7 p.m. Come hear the Christmas story through scripture readings, carols sung by the congregation, and music presented by the choir. Refreshments will be provided after the Cantata performance as well as another chance to enjoy a stroll along the “Christmas Tree Walk”.
Everyone is invited to “Sing Around the Christmas Tree” on Tuesday, December 23rd at 6:30 p.m. at the ball diamond in Hawleyton.
A “Candlelight Christmas Eve” service will be held at the church on Christmas Eve (Wednesday, 12/24) at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited to bring family and friends to what is always a beautiful and inspirational service as the birth of Christ is celebrated!
